Meet Averie
Hi, I'm Averie, the founder of Threads.
Before opening Threads, I spent more than two decades in the automotive industry after studying Automotive Marketing. While I loved building relationships throughout my career, I always dreamed of creating a space of my own - one where fashion, connection, and community come together.
That dream became Threads.
I wanted to create more than a clothing boutique. I wanted to create a space where women feel welcomed, inspired, and confident. A place where you are greeted by name, encouraged to try something new, and never feel rushed. Whether you're searching for the perfect outfit or simply stopping in to say hello, I hope every visit feels special.
Every piece you'll find at Threads is thoughtfully curated with quality, versatility, and effortless style in mind. My goal has always been to offer the clothing and lifestyle pieces that become your favourites in your wardrobe and home - not because they are trendy, but because they make you feel like your best self.
Outside of Threads, my favourite moments are often the simplest - spending time with my family, walking our dogs, entertaining friends, or fitting in a morning workout before opening the boutique.
Those moments remind me that life's little pleasures matter, and they've inspired the kind of experience I hope to create at Threads: welcoming, genuine, and always worth slowing down for.

Meet Lynn
If you've visited Threads, chances are you've met Lynn.
With more than 30 years experience in fashion and styling, Lynn has an incredible eye for helping women discover pieces that not only look beautiful in but feel like them. She believes getting dressed should be effortless, confidence-boosting, and, above all, fun.
As a proud member of the Uxbridge community, Lynn loves the relationships she's built with our customers. Whether she is styling a complete look, helping you find the perfect finishing touch, or simply catching up on what's new around town, she has a way of making everyone feel welcome.
When she's not working, Lynn is spending time with her friends & family, gardening, reading or spoiling her wonderful grandchildren - and somehow, she never seems to slow down! Her energy, warmth, and genuine love of helping others are part of what makes Threads such a special place.
We couldn't imagine Threads without her.
